Create full clones of hard drives; SATA, ATA, IDE, USB and more.
HDClone (Free Edition) is a simple utility which provides users the ability to make exact copies or clones of hard drives.
To complete its primary task, HDClone requires a book disk or a CD disc which generates its primary interface. While creating the boot disk, the program saves the files required in order to boot the system into the main interface which then allows you to clone disks.
To clone a disk with HDClone, just reboot the system and boot up from the disk; just make sure your BIOS is set to read from the CD drive. During the process of cloning your selected drives, all files will be copied to the destination including any files installed by operating systems like Windows. The rate at which HDClone will create copies is around 300MB per minute.
It supports IDE, ATA and SATA drives.
Overall, HDClone Free is efficient, fast and a free way to rapidly clone your hard drive(s).
